Miss Lady, Can I Talk to You for a Minute?
We'll be discussing the issue of men trying to pick up women on the street, what guys are trying to do, why some men do it and others don't, the risks for women that aren't interested and tell men straight up that they are not, and the women that go for it. Join us to discuss a behavior pattern quite popular amongst Black men especially in larger urban areas of the nation. On at 4:00 p.m. (PST) Sunday, March 7th 2010.

In my work as an advice columnist, I've interacted with hundreds of thousands of men from all corners of the globe over the past 18 years. I've come to the conclusion that though there are many ways these traits can manifest and in varying degrees, there are just three basic types of Black men. Type #1 is the guy that does all he can to make the world a better place for himself and everyone in it, Type #2 are guys that do as little as possible but have plenty of time to stand (or sit) around and rail on about what others don't do to his satisfaction, and Type #3... those that are controlling, misogynistic, abusive assholes that are no good for themselves or anyone they meet. I've taken a stance that is guaranteed to be controversial and piss some people off, but when have you ever known me to shy away from controversy? Click to read The Three Types of Black Men.

What's
up with the double standard surrounding male and female sexuality? Why
can a man screw around and freely celebrate and enjoy his sexuality,
but a woman that does the same thing is labeled a skank, a cunt or a 'ho and considered
unworthy of marriage? Why is it that in 2009 men would even expect to marry a chaste, pure, almost virginal woman
while they hold themselves to no such standard? Advice columnist, relationship expert, and author Deborrah Cooper digs in to dissect men's deep fears of sexual inadequacy, and why men attempt to control women's vaginas with religious doctrine, harsh judgments, demeaning labels and even the legal system. A must read! Click graphic to go to article.

When it comes to a fulfilling relationship, coupledom and copulation are intrinsincly linked. In many cases, the correlation is positive (happy couples frequently report healthy sex lives), but sometimes, it can be a double whammy. For both men and women, the road to becoming a dynamic duo under the sheets ca be negatively affected by lack of communication, unresolved anger, and mistrust. You can do something to feel better about your partner and your relationship! That something involves sex.
