single parentsI believe that an early pregnancy is not yet a baby.  When such a pregnancy occurs between two relative strangers, or between people that are downright silly, an abortion is the best option.  But when women get accidentally pregnant then run around saying "I can't kill 'my baby!'," shouldn’t such women make sure they can take care of "my baby?" All by themselves? Without county welfare, food stamps, child support from the father that didn't want the baby?  Shouldn't you be woman enough to stand on your own two feet? Hey, YOU wanted it, so YOU take care of it! Get a clue girlfriend – that baby you just got yourself knocked up with is no one's responsibility but YOURS!

Priscilla Branch’s recent article entitled “Who Is Responsible for this Baby Growing In My Womb?,” along with an extremely controversial Instant Survey on this topic provoked many of you to write and share your thoughts on this issue.

The survey results were based upon a total of 579 votes by both males and females (406 females and 161 males).  Not surprisingly, the majority of the females(74% of females voting), felt that even if a pregnancy was an accident and the father requested that the mother-to-be get an abortion to absolve them both of the burden of an unwanted child, the mother had the right to make the final decision about the birth and put the father on the hook for 18 years of support, regardless of his desires.

What shocked me is that the majority of men (70% ofmen voting) also voted the same way!  Is this due to a sense of obligation, home training, brainwashing by their single mothers, or a real sense of responsibility?

Since we received responses only from female site visitors, the reasons why men voted the way they did will remain amystery.

In a related matter, I’ve received several angry letters from young women that condemned my stance on abortion.  See, I believe that women that have no way to support a child they decide to have need a reality check.  Women that are too weak-minded or immature toadequately feed and clothe, discipline, educate, nurture, train and love consistently a child for 18 or more years should not have a child.

I am one of those people who believes that an early pregnancy does not qualify as a baby.  Ialso believe that when women "accidentally" end up pregnant then run around saying "I can't kill 'my baby!'," such a woman best be real sure she can take care of "my baby" all by herself.

    Every single day.
