Good Advice... yes, I totally agree... Fat Cat MUST be stopped!!!

But I don't have a room that I could dedicate to the fat beast. My home has an open floor plan so I can't really close anything off without ruining the flow... And I can't see devoting one of my bedrooms to a cat to muss up.... sooooooo, I have a plan! And the answer was right in front of me the whole time...
Fat Cats can't jump.... they are too big and clumsy.... so I've decided to put a small portion of food out for Fat Cat in the am... but I'm going to leave the cat feeder on top of my kitchen table...Fat Cat won't be able to get up there... she's too fat to jump...

and she's afraid of heights too...
Although I really HATE allowing the cats to eat on my table!!!

I taught them NEVER to jump up there... (in my presence, at least)... I'll put a table cloth on the glass top... and hope for the best...
It's only a temporary solution, I hope...

Maybe in trying to jump, Fat Cat may lose a few pounds trying to reach that food.

I remember we had a cat growing up my Grandmother named her Frisky (not orignal I know but it fitted her to a T). Frisky started off as a house cat until Christmas when the blinking lights made her go nuts, she "attacked" the tree! LOL, We had such fun with Frisky. She was so beautiful, big green eyes, white socks and a star on her forehead and lush black coat of fur. She'd catch field mice, bite off their heads and present them to us on the front doorstep.
To this day, my sister hates mice.
