A guy I am going out with sent me a text about tomorrow's date after work and asked me if I wanted him to "dress sexy."

Now I stared that a long time because I wasn't sure I knew how to answer it without being a beyatch.  So I took the middle of the road approach and wrote back:

"Sure!  You should always dress sexy!"

So he writes back "hahahaha. I know you don't wanna see me in my birthday suit! what does that mean?

And I am thinking you hopeful mofo ... you started this nonsense trying to see if you were gonna get some yet.  HELL TO THE NAW!

So I write back

"Means you should always dress in a way that is masculine, flattering and that shows your buff!"

So what do YOU all consider "dressing sexy" to be (outside the bedroom of course!)

I think any dude asking, "should I dress sexy?"  is immediately suspect.  If you'd said yes, he'd probably show up in a skin-tight rayon-spandex blend shirt, loafers with no socks, pleated slacks and have on a leopard print thong.

I think anyone asking anything of that nature is wack--you should just do it.  Especially for a man.  Asking, "should I..."  kinda kills the whole thing.  The only excuse for asking that kind of question, is when you're unsure what the dress code is like and you're trying to suss out how dressed up you need to me.  As in, "should I dress casual [jeans] or dress up?"  Dressing sexy is wearing comfortable, well-fitting clothes that are appropriate for the occasion.  Sexy going to a baseball game is different than sexy going to the opera.
