What is the longest time you've been celibate?

What was your reason(s) for deciding to be celibate?

Do you find the longer you go without, the harder it is to get back into it?  Or is it easier?

How did intimacy feel the first time after you've been celibate for a while?

Did it make a difference in the person with whom you chose to end your celibacy?

Even if you're now married or with a significant other, please chime in with your thoughts back to a time when or if you did practice celibacy.

Uhh, I've never practiced celibacy. But I have had a time or two when I couldn't get some puccy! LOL

Men don't really practice celibacy! It's usually just the unfortunate circumstance of not having a woman, being broke, or not catching the right woman at the right time. Women practice celibacy, men just call that shyt bad luck!

Since I got out of the Army 18 years ago, the longest I've gone without sex is about 2 weeks. However, my last 3 months in the Army I went without sex. I think it's important to stress that men don't necessarily suffer from the intimacy issues that women suffer from when they haven't had sex in a while. It's easy for a man to get back into it, because essentially sex is a physiological need for men, and when we're not getting it, we're thinking about how we're going to get it!

Most times, for most men, sex is just what it is, SEX. It is devoid of all the emotionalism and expectations that women have. And, I don't know if that's nature or nurture.
