What would make a man pull out a 2 for 1 coupon on a first date?  Secondly, why would he think that would be a prudent thing to do?

I mean, if you want to ask a woman out but can't afford to pay for 2 lunches or dinners or whatever at the place you want to go, just go someplace less expensive!  Is that such a rocket science thing to figure out?

Ladies, how would you feel about a guy using a coupon on your very first date?
Guys, what would you think about a guy that did such a thing?  Or is that guy YOU? lololol

I guess it depends.   If he got a discount coupon for an exclusive expensive restaurant and wanted to take me there, it wouldn't bother me. (It's the thought that counts).   Very nice restaurants in NYC are expensive and maybe he wanted to impress me and was saving that coupon up to use for just the right occasion.  A lot of guys take their dates out duriing restaurant week to some of the 5 star restaurants here in the city because they have the pre fixe dinner for a fraction of what it would normally cost, and maybe the guy got a discount at work or something.  But if they are whipping out a coupon for some regular food joint then my reaction would be... Huh Grin Cheesy Grin Cheesy Roll Eyes
