Really? How are you envisioning that dream becoming reality? How can the majority of your 'diaspora' who cant even prepare themselves to live in civilized humane conditions under 'normal' circumstances, stand any chance of being prepared for any disaster that nature or man decide to send their way?
While I agree with your assessment of our people, it IS being done albeit on small scales around the world. It starts with a conscious few who are prepared to think, plan and
do the work. Others will either complain about whats not being done, do nothing at all or both.
Was anyone praying for Haitians during the last few decades while they have been living in the most poverty stricken country in the western hemisphere?...while they've been eating dirt...literally..in a tropical country that has almost no vegetation ramaining? Obviously, PRAYERS aint what they need.
I have been praying for them and ALL African peoples oppressed throughout this world since I became conscious enough to do so (since considering myself a ‘Panafrican’ 8 years ago). And had you read my numerous posts throughout the years you would know that I do more than pray. But for ME it starts with a spiritual foundation. A strong faith that I was put on this Earth for a calling that I have answered. I never said prayers alone would solve the problem of ANY Africans as it would certainly be foolish to think such. Again, it STARTS with prayer and then we work to ensure that should a “natural” disaster strike, whether it be in Haiti or New Orleans, our people are better prepared to deal with the aftermath as well as the natural disaster itself.
