On Wednesday, October 28th at 6:00 p.m. (PST) I'll be discussing the issue of Street Harassment - something every woman I've ever spoken to has had to deal with.
In some cities you can't even walk down the street without being hassled to stop and talk to some toothless knucklehead, being forced to endure rude comments about your breasts or butt, or in some cases even physically assaulted as these fools feel free to grab and touch the bodies of females they have never seen without permission.
What can be done about it? A group of young women from the Washington DC area have formed an organization to fight and raise awareness about street harassment in their city, with national chapters now in operation as well.
Also on board will be two young ladies working on a documentary about Street Harassment, to discuss their work and research.
Join me at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday October 28th for an eye-opening investigation into the daily life of the young Black woman.
