Does He Really Have Stalker Tendencies?

Dear Ms. HeartBeat:
How would you react if someone told you “I have always had a thing for you, but if we dated I may turn into a stalker!” This is a true story and it really happened to me over the weekend. What are your thoughts?

Signed,
Don’t Know What to Think

Dear Don’t Know:
That’s just game. He is no type of stalker. What he did was utilize a technique they teach loser dudes to use on women in those “Pick Up Artist” courses. It’s supposed to flatter you in an underhanded way while also throwing in a bit of a negative.  As a matter of fact, that’s what they call it – “negging” a woman. They believe that telling a woman something with a hint of negativity to it will crack her self-confidence and make it easier for him to pick her up for the night.

In reality, no man with any experience with women would use such a cheesy line. Really, any male past the age of 12 with knowledge of the qualities confident women of intelligence seek in a man would say some silly immature retarded mess like that.

I can’t even say it’s “cute” because his whole approach was just juvenile and sad.

He was just trying to get you to do just what you are doing now – spend time wondering about him and the possible meanings behind his word. Your mind is all aflutter trying to dissect and analyze inane drivel that has no logical or any other meaning.

You really need to get more game that that girlfriend if you are going to be out here dealing with guys, otherwise you will end up nothing but roadkill. Get used to hearing dumb crap from the lips of males on the prowl.  When men say stupid #!@* to you, you need to let it go in one ear and out the other. If I had a dollar for every stupid thing a man said to me in my lifetime I’d own my own island!
